Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--7.2, 0.37; HindIII/PstI--7.4; BamHI--7.5; EcoRI--7.2, 0.37; HindIII--7.4; BamHI/HindIII--7.2, 0.35. m1-8 was subcloned from m1-3. It includes part of intron 1 and most of exon 2. m1-8 detects members of the Vkappa Subgroup I and it also cross-hybridizes with part of the VkappaIII genes. |
