The insert contains the following restriction sites (kb from the 5' end): PstI--0.4, 5.0; BglII--2.2; XhoI--4.1, 6.3, 7.1; HindIII--7.2. Contains the complete gene, including transcription initiation and polyadenylation signals. Contains one Alu sequence and an associated microsatellite of the type (GA)n in intron 2 located 2.8 kb from the 5' end. |
