Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--2.7, 1.8; PvuII--2.4, 2.0; EcoRI--4.4. BglII and HindIII cut multiple times within the reading frame. A plasmid providing the gene for a yeast selectable marker in the MCS of pUC18, allowing more flexibility in designing constructions. HIS3 is in an orientation opposite to lacZ'. The insert was subcloned from pSZ515. |
