This clone contains the complete viral genome of the woodchuck hepatitis virus cloned into the pBR325 plasmid vector. The virus was linearized at the EcoRI site and inserted into the EcoRI site of pBR325. The EcoRI site interrupts the pre-surface coding region.
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI - 6.0, 3.3; BamHI - 7.7, 1.6; PstI - 5.1, 4.1; HindIII - 7.0, 2.3; SalI - 9.4. ---ATCC staff
